The first lunch lecture of the year was a great success, drawing over 80 HTE members. We were hosted by Settels, an engineering company based in Eindhoven. The presentation featured two speakers, Jaap Oudes and Niels van Giessen. Jaap introduced the company’s structure and core values, while Niels provided an in-depth look at one of their ongoing projects. This personal insight sparked a lively discussion among attendees on the best strategies for approaching such a project. They shared valuable insights into the challenges and setbacks faced along the way, guiding us through the journey to the final product. As always, Broodje Leo’s sandwiches were the perfect addition, making for a fantastic start to this year’s lunch lectures. A big thank you to Settels for the inspiring introduction to your company!
