On Monday, November 18th, we kicked off the first lunch lecture of the second quarter, this time hosted by our partner, Hittech: a leading system supplier for high-tech equipment. The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s structure, key applications, and an engaging glimpse into the projects a junior engineer could work on. Additionally, they gave valuable insight into the company’s working environment, offering much-needed context for our students.
One highlight of the lecture was a detailed presentation of a high-precision linear guide system that Hittech developed. They walked us through the entire process, from design to manufacturing and assembly, showcasing the complexity and innovation involved in creating such systems.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Timo and Roy for their insightful presentation. Later this year, there will be an opportunity to visit Hittech, where students can explore the company in greater depth and have their questions thoroughly addressed.
