On the tenth of February Taylor will host another lunch lecture together with Philips Innovation Services. In this lunch lecture, Rob van Gils from Philips Innovation Services, aside from an introduction to Philips Innovation Services, will provide an overview of efficient ways on analyzing highly complex (thermal) systems that are commonly employed within Philips Innovation Services.
High precision systems become increasingly reliant upon the ability for sub-millikelvin thermal conditioning. Advanced thermal control schemes, to obtain such stability levels, benefit from appropriate modelling of the often complex thermal systems considered. These models namely provide required insights of thermal behavior in frequency domain that are extremely difficult to obtain experimentally.
