PME students use different kinds of software on a daily basis, one of the most frequently used programs in both the industry and university is COMSOL Multiphysics.
COMSOL Multiphysics is a general-purpose simulation software for modeling designs, devices, and processes in all fields of engineering, manufacturing, and scientific research. In addition to using multiphysics modeling for your own projects, you can also turn your models into simulation applications and digital twins for use by other design teams, manufacturing departments, test labs, customers, and more.
Because of the importance of COMSOL there will be a training on Tuesday the 27th of November. From 13:00 to 17:00 in Instruction Room G, a COMSOL employee will give an introduction to the software and answer all your questions. To actively participate in this training it is required to bring a laptop with COMSOL installed on it, this can only be done with a license, we will provide this license prior to the training so that you can download the software before the training.
